Olga Vynnyk is a Ukrainian fine art and socially engaged photographer, educator and cultural project developer based in North Devon, UK.

Originally from Kharkiv, Olga rebuilt her artistic and professional practice in the UK after forced displacement in 2022. Her work explores migration, belonging, memory, inner transformation and the relationship between people and nature. At the heart of her practice are transitional states — between past and present, loss and renewal, vulnerability and resilience.

Working across fine art photography, visual storytelling and socially engaged practice, Olga creates atmospheric visual narratives in which landscape, the human body and natural symbols reflect inner experience. Her work was presented at the London Art Biennale 2025 and selected for the Chianciano Biennale 2026 and Florence Biennale 2027.

Alongside her individual artistic practice, Olga designs and leads participatory photography and interdisciplinary projects in partnership with arts, heritage and community organisations, including Libraries Unlimited, Studio KIND, Sunrise Diversity and National Trust Arlington Court.

She is the creator of Photography for Wellbeing, an original programme combining photographic learning, close observation, creative reflection and supportive group practice.

Her work connects personal artistic research with public participation, creating spaces where people can build confidence, share experiences and develop a deeper connection with themselves, others and the places around them.
